MWAH! troupe member Mason Ridenour serenades Deleana Obermaier, an eighth grader with similar interests in music and drama whom he met during a performance at Churchville Middle School in Elmhurst, Illinois, on April 16, 2010. During the song he's confronted by troupe member Chris Honn, who's also impressed with Deleana. A third troupe member, Chris Oechsel, assists in removing Mason, but not for long. The song ends with Mason and Chris Honn joining forces to captivate Deleana.

Mason loves to sing. In fact, sometimes he simply gets carried away. This time it was at the Marseilles Elementary School in Marseilles, Illinois on October 4, 2010. Doing what he had to do was troupe member Chris Oechsel.

As of April 20, 2010:

My name: Mason Dean Ridenour

My age/sign: 14 and a half / Virgo

Where I was born: Peru, Illinois

My home town: A lot of them! Channahon, Morris, Schaumburg, Oswego, and Yorkville - all in Illinois (14 different houses - the 14th as of August 17, 2010)

My school / year in school: Yorkville Middle School / 8th grade

My favorite subject in school and why: Choir, a class that I have a very recognizable talent in and for which I'm well known throughout the Yorkville community. I love to sing. It's my passion, hobby, and activity that I'm always pursuing.

My favorite food: My mama's home cooked chili and spaghetti!

My favorite TV show: Spongebob Squarepants, iCarly, Drake & Josh, and the Suite Life on Deck

My favorite actors / actresses: Johnny Depp, Jim Carrey, Sam Worthington, Hugh Jackman, Shia LaBeouf, and Christian Bale

My favorite musical artists: Michael Jackson and Justin Bieber

My hobbies: Singing, dancing, acting, sleeping, eating, video games, TV, and texting

My personal hero or heroes and why: My Mom for her perseverance and courageous spirit and my father for his musical love and genius and how he looks at things, breaks them down, and be Smarticle!!

My best friends and why: I have two best friends. The first is my BFFFFFFFF Jake Smith, who is like an older brother to me even though I'm older than him. But he looks out for me and we both love to sing and be around people socially. My second is my BFFFFFFFF Robert Delgado. He's a spazz and loves music as I do and is a very cheerful character.

What you’d probably find in my CD player or iPod: Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson. Actually just about everything! Except rap, scream, and country. Well I have a couple of country songs.

What you’d probably find under my bed: Posters of movies or cool stuff, useless junk, memories, notebooks, and the boogie monster! AHHH!!!

Most of my time on the computer is spent: Listening to music, doing research for school, gmail or facebook, and finding virus free game websites.

In my free time I: Sing, hang with my BFFFFFFFF Jake Smith, or veg!

My most humbling experience: When I was eight I was steering my Dad's boss' jeep and I jerked the wheel.
I almost killed my family, but my Dad turned the wheel back in time and we only skimmed the top of the car and broke the right rear view mirror.
Also my siblings bumped their heads. It was nice that everyone came out with only a bump or bruise.

The best advice I ever got: Obey the law of chastity. I shall be pure forever! (until I get married)

The best day I ever had so far: Performing in The Seussical in 7th grade. I played Jojo the Who, and that show was one of the greatest moments in my life.

The worst day I ever had so far: When I was seven I had an asthma attack and could hardly breathe. I thought it could be the end, but I went to the hospital for a week and soon I was all better. The hospital was a blast I must admit.

What makes me laugh: My Dad. He's the funniest man I've known and will ever know!

What makes me mad: When people think they are the coolest thing around and everyone actually hates them.

My proudest moment so far: When I became a member of the troupe!!

One thing I simply can’t stand: My brother when he thinks he's smarter than me and he's four years younger and I'm more intellectual than he! See, you can tell just by that word!:)

One thing I’d like to change about myself: To try to be more patient with my siblings so I can stand them more often.

Fifteen years from now I want to: Be married, be a professional singer, maybe be an actor, and have a wife and somewhere between four and six kids! Woohoo! I want a big family.:) And go to college!

The reason I want to is: Because singing and acting are my dreams and I've always wanted a big family.

The three words that best describe me: Singer, Cheerful, and Germophobic. I'm well vocalized. I'm always singing in public and making people laugh and feel good about themselves. And I hate germs and anything to do with bathrooms and the bottoms of shoes.
